I’m drawn to people at war with their own nature—especially those whose greatest strength may also be the thing destroying them.
My work lives in the gap between who we believe we are and what the world reveals us to be. I’m interested in ambition, identity, performance, contradiction, and the stories we tell ourselves in order to survive.
I don’t want to resolve those contradictions for the audience. I want to get close enough that judgment becomes difficult—where hero and villain can occupy the same frame, often in a single unbroken shot.
There, the lens becomes a two-way mirror, reflecting as much as it captures…
